In the production hall we identified two essential opportunities for reducing expenses. The first one, which did not involve a major investment, was to detect the compressed-air leak and suggest a packet of measures to remedy the situation. After the measure was implemented, the consumption of compressed air was reduced by at least one half.
The second, more capital-intensive investment was the total reconstruction of the building’s façade, which involved forced ventilation and conditioning.
Due to internal heat sources, the measure can guarantee more than 90% savings of heating energy in comparison with the current situation.
